BETTING, GAMING & LOTTERIES ACT 1963
Based in Liverpool, the home of the football pools, we have had a unique opportunity
to provide services in the pools industry, as now regulated by the Betting Gaming
and Lotteries Act 1963, since before the introduction of that legislation.

In addition to pool betting, a new industry is starting up using the Internet as a
medium for games based on various sports and other concepts.

Many of these fall within the 1963 Act, and we are able to assist operators with
their requirements under the Act, and advice Local Authorities with registration of
such pools.

We act for a number of London Boroughs and Local Authorities across the country
in the specialist field of Pools Betting and as their Appointed Accountants under
the Act.
